Daisies are romantic flowers that symbolize harmony. Their white rays and yellow disks give them a unique feel different from other flowers. From nails with daisies on a monochrome background to a transparent backdrop with colorful daisies, you just can’t have enough.

Furthermore, you don’t need to be a nail technician or have artistic skills to create your version of a daisy manicure. You can do it yourself in less than an hour or opt for nail stickers. And in a few minutes, your mani will be ready to flaunt to the world.

Brief History of Daisy Nails

This nail trend stems from the expressive nail art culture of the 1980s. During this period, nail technicians explored different methods and designs to create captivating manicures. This nail art became popular for its understated elegance that brings to mind the allure of daisy flowers.

Ever since then, daisy nails have progressed to feature different patterns, colors, and styles, leaving room for unlimited creativity as you’ll soon see.

How to Install Daisy Nails

First, you need materials such as:

  • Clear base coat
  • Fake nails
  • Adhesive or glue
  • Clear top coat
  • Buffers
  • Gold studs or glitter (for the yellow disks of the daisy)
  • Your preferred color of nail polish
  • White nail polish
  • Clear glitter polish (if you want glitter)
  • Dotting tool (or toothpick)

Once your materials are ready, do this:

  • Use the glue to attach the fake nails to your fingers and file to your desired length before applying the clear base coat. If you aren’t using fake nails, apply your clear base coat first.
  • Let it dry before applying your main nail polish.
  • If you’ll be using a gold stud, apply a dot of clear polish where the stud will go and place the stud carefully on the area.
  • If you aren’t using a stud but a gold polish, apply a dot of the polish near the center and ensure it’s a tad close to your cuticle.
  • Use the white polish and dotter to form five to six dots which should look like small flowers. Space the flowers evenly.
  • Apply the gold studs or gold polish dots in the middle of the daisies.
  • Repeat the process until you have daisies all over your fingers.

And then one day, I found myself toeing the path of an entrepreneur and becoming a fashion enthusiast. This made me develop an interest in content marketing and copywriting which I've been chasing alongside my fashion career.

That aside, when I'm not sharing style articles, selling with stories, or sketching fashion-forward pieces for Ria Kosher, you'll find me telling wild stories that always come with a twist.
