6. Consume a Diet Rich in Vitamin B-12

A deficiency in vitamin B-12 can cause your knuckles, joint and other parts of your body to darken. To tackle this, eat a diet rich in vitamin B-12 or take in supplements for it. For example, fish, beef, egg and other dairy products contain this vitamin.
