See How Your Favourite Celebrities Slayed At The 13th Headies

The 2019 Headies Award happened last night with all the glitz and glamour at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. With this year being the 13th Headies Award tagged The Power of a Dream, the Headies sure fulfilled its purpose of celebrating the best in the Nigerian Music Industry.

To begin with, the hosts for the 13th Headies Award, Nancy Isime and Reminisce did not fail to enthrall us with their different outfits, not to speak of the beautiful A-list celebrities who came all glammed up and beautified our screens with outfits capable of making one gape for hours. We can only applaud our Nigerian designers for their creativity and dexterity in making their art worthwhile. They most definitely are the brains and hands behind the glam of the red carpet attendees.

Tiannah Empire never disappoints. This is evident in the outfits of the hosts, Pretty Mike and Omashola. Tubo also awed us with Toke Makinwa‘s elegant piece. David Wej gave us a dose of class with Denola Grey, Tobi Bakre, Ike Onyeoma and Seyi Awo. Junior Maphia presented Ebuka in an all-black tuxedo. Erica Moore styled the real-life Gelato, DJ Cuppy, and shook the Internet with Mercy Eke’s daring outfit. Tolu Bally created show-stopper pieces doling out some red hot pepper with Symply Tacha and an awe-inspiring one with Lisa George.

For the main business of the night, Burna Boy, Falz, Teni and Rema bagged the most important awards while some other Nigerian artistes, both old and new, entertained the audience with ace performances on the stage.

Here’s how some of our favourite celebrities showed up to the event below.

Writing has always been a part of me. From writing stories as a young child to studying Communication Arts in the university, it has always been more than a medium of expression to me.

And then one day, I found myself toeing the path of an entrepreneur and becoming a fashion enthusiast. This made me develop an interest in content marketing and copywriting which I've been chasing alongside my fashion career.

That aside, when I'm not sharing style articles, selling with stories, or creating fashion-forward pieces for Ria Kosher, you'll find me telling wild stories that always come with a twist.
