From time immemorial, celebrities have been turning up the heat on the red carpet with their gorgeous outfits. This was no different at the 3rd Annual Academy Museum Gala 2023.
The annual affair honors some of Hollywood’s elite while also aiming to raise funds for the highly acclaimed museum’s public programming and exhibitions.
The event was initially set to take place in October but was postponed following the Hamas attack on Israel.
This year, notable forces in the industry like Oprah Winfrey, Micheal B. Jordan, Meryl Streep, and Sofia Coppola got honors and acknowledgments for their top-tier storytelling contributions.

In a statement earlier this year, Jacqueline Stewart, director and president of the Academy Museum said:
“We are excited to gather again at our third annual Academy Museum Gala to celebrate the power, global impact, and indelible importance of cinema. I am truly honored to recognize four artists, Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, and Sofia Coppola, whose creativity and passion have inspired and shaped our culture in such powerful ways.”
Ahead of the fundraiser, celebrities that walked the red carpet included Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Fantasia Barrino, Tom Blyth, Gael García Bernal, Lupita Nyong’o, Eugenio Derbez, Natalie Portman, Molly Shannon, Simu Liu, Jay Ellis, Mason Gooding, Christopher Briney, among many others.
