Just as we have music and movie awards, the fashion industry isn’t left out. On Monday 5, 2022, key fashion industry players and celebrities alike turned up at London’s Royal Albert Hall, for the British Fashion Awards 2022. The event, presented by Diet Coke, was indeed one of glitz and glamour as typical of any red-carpet event.
The Fashion Awards 2022 had Jodie Turner-Smith, British and Jamaican activist, keep the audience enthralled with her superb hosting skills. The presenter also donned about four outfits throughout the event from luxury designers such as Gucci, 16Arlington, Richard Quinn, and Robert Wun.
Besides sheer dresses and skin-revealing outfits, one trend that reigned at The Fashion Awards 2022 was the dramatic train.
Popular faces like Naomi Campbell, Adut Akech, and a host of others showed up in dresses with flowing trains.
It was as though they all agreed to keep the sheer trend mild for a while.

- Designer of the year— Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino
- Model of the year— Bella Hadid who recently made headlines during Paris Fashion Week 2022 when a dress was sprayed onto her body.
- Independent British brand — Wales Bonner

- Isabella Blow award for fashion creator—Katie Grand
- Metaverse world & gaming experience award — Burberry
