While watching the men strut their stuff on the runway, a friend of mine beside me exclaimed, “What a way to start the year!” and I couldn’t agree more. The Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24 was everything it promised to be. The fashion show featured the latest collections from Italian powerhouses and emerging designers. This season saw bold silhouettes, unique textures, and wearable, conceptual pieces hit the runway.
It was such a delight to see the looks that will set new trends for fall/winter. As the fashion world looks to the future, Milan continues to reinvent trends and establish itself as an epicenter for modern menswear.
The event started in Florence with S.S. Daley’s debut as the guest designer for Pitti Uomo, the world’s most important platform for men’s clothing and accessories. There, the brand revealed it’s set to grow with investment from none other than Harry Styles. Also, during the week, we saw the crowd descend on Milano for shows from Italian big Names like Prada, DSquared2, and Fendi, plus rising stars including JordanLuca and Andersson Bell.
If you couldn’t attend or follow up on the event on social media, don’t worry. This post summarizes details of all the trends and key moments of the MFW23.
Celebrities at Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24
Like it does every season, the event brought together the crème de la crème of the fashion world. From influencers and celebrities to editors and buyers, it was a star-studded show.
With an amazing roster that includes both growing and established brands this year, Milan’s menswear FW24 exceeded all expectations. But the collections on the catwalk weren’t the only things that drew attention. The front rows were also eagerly anticipated as we couldn’t help but feast our eyes on the stunning looks of celebrities at the event.

Major Highlights at Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24
One of the major highlights of the event was when the identical brothers Dean and Dan Caren behind the Italian brand, Dsquared, planted a “makeover machine” at the center of the runway. They did this on the open night of the MFW Menswear fall/winter 2024 collections.
The fictitious device served as a transformational hub: models entered the all-white facade wearing exploratory streetwear ensembles, and they quickly exited the other side in significantly better-shaped, glossy formalwear. Their metamorphoses were likened to magic tricks, but the highlight was that the entire cast was composed of identical twins to speed up the process.
Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24 Street Style
The streets of Milan were filled with lovers of all things fashion, and one of the prominent things we noticed was cozy layering. Over the past few seasons, Milan Fashion Week has seen subtle changes in trends, leaning towards maximalist tailoring to bring out that modern Italian style.

This fall/Winter 2024 Men’s Fashion Week season, layering took the crown. Attendees showed off their best renditions of winter aesthetics with dramatic textures and structured silhouettes. It was obvious they aimed to stay cozy with oversized sweaters and satin bomber jackets. We also saw monochromatic suiting paired with similar colored turtlenecks to give a classy look at winter styling. Here’s a look at some of the coolest street style looks at Milan Fashion Week 2024:
The Best Footwear Trends at Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24
Most of the footwear trends during the week pointed towards comfort and warmth for the chilly winter season. While the fashion show brought the standard style in sneakers with Nike and Adidas, other technical and cozy footwear still stood their ground.
We saw classics like the Air Jordan 1, Wales Bonner’s Adidas Collabs, and the ever-popular Sambas, prove to be a fan favorite amongst attendees. Also, Uggs slippers proved they are not only worn indoors but can also be a fashion statement for the cozy and comfort-focused street style aficionado.
Spectacular Runway Moments During Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24
We expected nothing but excellence during the fashion week, and we were not disappointed. From big brands to up-and-coming houses, we had our fill of men’s fashion on the runway:
Magliano FW24
“Magliano” made a glorious return to the fashion show as its honored guest designer, a title previously earned by the likes of ERL’s Eli Russel Linnets among others. It was a profound homecoming for the top designer as he showcased a restructured traditional code of classic menswear shapes with doses of femininity.
The collection shows a sweet relationship between messy and formal, artistically undone and expertly tailored. Magliano was futuristic in its approach to categorical clothing.
Gucci for Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24
We saw every bit of sophistication in the collection Sabato De Sarno, Gucci’s Creative Director, debuted for the fashion house at the event.
The collection featured a flavored finish on well-tailored suits. Poise was a priority with the formal shapes smartly tailored with well-executed corners that made each trench coat, blazer, and zipped jacket appear untouchable.
Dsquared2 FW24
Besides their grand and creative show on the runway, the brand featured eccentric denim ensembles.
And throughout the collection, the designers toyed with hyper-masculine tropes to create an open-minded wardrobe.

Stone Island Menswear FW24
The Italian brand made its debut at Milan Fashion Week Menswear FW2024 showcasing textile innovations inside the city’s La Cattedrale.
The designer also showcased a ghost collection that included various wools to reimagine the brand’s classics. Among the standouts, military-inspired peacoats and single-breasted jackets that composed of heavy 95% wool and 5% cashmere both flashed the monochromatic “Ghost” tag on their left sleeves.
Fendi Men’s FW24
Fendi’s Fall/ Winter 2024 menswear collection was two-fold. On one hand, we saw traditional masculine silhouettes, and on the other hand, it featured a metropolitan swagger that challenges the status quo.
For this collection, the brand explores the vastness and complexity of what manhood means today.
MSGM FW24
Massimo Giorgetti, the brain behind the young, eclectic, and flamboyant Italian fashion label MSGM, questions the speed at which the world operates in his Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
With thoughts on tempo, the designer positioned his runway in the Porta Venezia subway station. There was a distinct sparkle to Giorgetti’s collection as it featured sequins, feathers, and glitter decorated a lot of hoodies, briefs, and coats.
Blackmerle Milan Fashion Week Menswear FW24
Returning for Fall/Winter 2024, Seoul-based label, Blackmerle, delivered a new wintry lineup in its usual dark palette.
The new collection is considered a continuation and further exploration of its SS23 collection, which focused on a more toned-down approach to textured and layered wear.
Emporio Armani Milan Fashion Week Men’s FW24
While the models strutted their stuff at an inky lighthouse, the Italian designer’s sharp collection has a maritime mentality.
The nautical aura reflects Mr. Armani’s “love for the sea” through sharp formalwear, expert tailoring, and a neutral color story.
Prada FW24
Blue office doubled as photo ops at the entrance to Prada Fall 2024 men’s show. Look one introduced the collection’s hero: colorful headwear that clung firmly to models’ heads, much like a swim cap.
The collection also housed monotone turtlenecks that appeared in uniform hues to the headwear.
JW Anderson FW24
The fashion house brought Stanley Kubrick’s 1999 erotic mystery drama, Eyes Wide Shut, to life in knitwear.
The illustrative sweaters showed paintings of Christine’s womanly depictions.
